Lioness, a film documentary about women in combat

How did a group of female support soldiers-mechanics, supply clerks and engineers-end up fighting alongside the Marines in some of the bloodiest counterinsurgency battles of the Iraq war? Find out in Lioness, a film about female combat veterans. Women In Defense Mid-Atlantic chapter invites you and your family to attend a screening of this incredible documentary that tells the story of the first women in history to be sent into direct ground combat. The screening will take place at Harford Community College's Chesapeake Center Dining Rooms. Refreshments will be offered for sale. A $5 donation requested to offset the cost of screening the documentary.
