Our January 14 monthly member's meeting bested our previous high attendance, with over 100 registering for this event with members coming from NJ, Va and PA.

NELSON (NED) KEELER, Director, Software Engineering Center Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD/ Fort Monmouth, NJ gave an in-depth andn detailed presentation on how and where his command supports all parts of the Defense Dept, not just the Army employing 1,200 government employees and over 2,800 contractors.

The big new direction for them and for the contracting community is logistics and business sytems along with enterprise management support. Strongly emphasized was the Defense Dept direction to develop software for use across all areas of the military.
